Board Service Opportunities
Board service at SoundBio Lab
SoundBio Lab is a small, mostly volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to making space for everyone to create, dream, and explore with science.
Our Board of Directors is a working board. Board members help guide the organization while also contributing volunteer time to support programs, lab operations, fundraising, volunteer coordination, and organizational systems.
We welcome interest from people who may want to serve on the SoundBio Lab Board of Directors or support one of our Board committees. This is an evergreen interest form, so you are welcome to reach out at any time. We may not have an immediate opening that matches your background or availability, but we review submissions as Board and committee needs arise.
Board service is a volunteer role. To serve effectively, Board members should live in the Puget Sound area or spend part of the year here.
Before submitting the interest form, please review the Board Service and Committee Information page to learn more about the time commitment, Board responsibilities, committees, and selection process.
