Step Inside the Future: Shoreline Community College Facility Tour & Course Preview

  • Shorline Community College Shoreline, WA, 98133 United States (map)

Ever wondered what it actually looks like inside a cutting-edge biomanufacturing lab? Before we dive into our 5-week course, we’re opening the doors early for an exclusive sneak peek. Join SoundBio Lab and Shoreline Community College (SCC) for a FREE guided tour of SCC’s state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facilities.

This tour doubles as a hands-on preview of our upcoming SoundBio Lab x SCC Biomanufacturing Course. You’ll get a first look at the industry-scale equipment you'll be operating, walk through the spaces where you'll be culturing bacterial factories, and meet the instructors who will guide you through the upcoming sessions. Whether you are already enrolled or just curious about how we can grow the sustainable materials of tomorrow, come get a taste of the skills you’ll build this summer.

Note: This tour is the perfect standalone introduction to the field, but it is highly recommended as a primer for students registered for the full 5-week SoundBio/SCC Biomanufacturing course starting July 7!

Location: Shoreline Community College, 6000 Cedar Building, Room 6118. Please note that the entrance to the building faces the campus. If you arrive from the north side, you’ll need to walk around the building to find the entrance doors. The address is 2500 Building, Shoreline, WA 98133.

Parking: Parking is free after 4 PM, so feel free to park in any campus lot. We recommend parking directly north of the Cedar building.
